Natalya is a petite woman, weighing at 98 lbs (a rather unhealthy weight) and standing at 5'2". Some wonder if she went into the fashion design career due to her being unable to enter a modeling career that it is assumed she wanted (which she didn't. Not that she'd really get one anyway... she's not expressive enough for it). Rather pretty, she would probably be considered more attractive is she didn't always have a rather displeased look on her face.

Her hair is kept long, straight and it's natural pale blonde color. Adorned with a white ribbon to keep it from her face. Her skin is pale from spending many hours inside, and out of direct sunlight (having natural fair skin, she burns easily and is displeased by this fact). Make up kept at a minimal, she dresses simplistic, despite some of her designs coming off as strange and 'out there.' Many of the models and agents she's come in contact with will describe her eyes as 'soulless' and 'creepy' that they 'seem to have the ability to see your thoughts.' So it's not uncommon for her intense and cold stare to be avoided.

Personality:
If one is merely coming in contact with Natalya in a 'passing and going' manner, they'll think her rather bland. Coming off as an emotionless person, with a constant visage of disinterest. Those that deal with her daily? A whole other story.

A rather violent person, she's been known to cause physical harm to those who displease her in some way. It's often rather subtle ways, a light touch on the shoulder that ends with her nails piercing skin... Perhaps a firm hold on the wrist, that only tightens until one is sure that it's broken. It's not really known what sets her off most of the time, just that one should always be careful around her. It truly is just simple things and off days that get her ticked though.

Between her obsession with perfection, and general dislike for people, she's often cruel towards models. Known to tear down their self-confidence and turn them down from modeling her clothes if they don't look like she wants (this displeases agents and those who actually like her designs, she often has to be reminded that she's not famous enough to be so picky). It will put her in a foul mood if she is forced to use a certain model despite her protests, most people know it's best to avoid her when this happens. Oddly enough, despite her sharp personality and seeming obsession with corners and angles, her designs are rather soft and modest, with a dark twist on them (not quite ideal in the edgy world we live in). She's still trying to find her niche.

History:
She was barely a year old when she was taken away from her parents and separated from her siblings... Luckily, younger children were able to be adopted off faster, and Natalya took on the name of Arlovskaya and had a new family by the time she was three. Not aware that she was getting a better fate than her siblings (hardly aware that she had siblings), the girl took her privileged life for granted.

The Arlovskaya's weren't very rich, but they were in love and... unable to have a child of their own. Finding Natalya was like a dream to them, seeing as how she really did resemble the two of them greatly (wanting to avoid the 'why don't I look like mommy or daddy' questions). Adopting her, they gave her as best of a life they could. She was loved and adored and kept away from the world. When she was introduced to other kids, she was awkward around them, and unsure of how to socialize. This led her to be teased and close off from most other people.

So, little Natalya grew, isolated and cold towards others (and known to poke and prod at kids that bother her on an off day). When she was fourteen, her parents told her the truth, thinking their mature little girl could handle it. She threw a fit, and shut herself in her room for days. They gave her a picture of her siblings, how... how could they keep her siblings from her like this?!

Just like that, she despised the Arlovskaya's.

She still doesn't know much about her siblings, a faded picture of them from their childhood is hardly enough to go by (the Arlovskaya's couldn't tell her much, the useless people). The girl carried on with school and her studies, enjoying anatomy and psychology... a forever growing secret passion of hers? Art. Not the useless things like paintings that will be seen only by the eyes of rich snobs, no... she wanted to create things that the world would see and be amazed with and... perhaps make a bit more money off of.

Once she was old enough, the girl took off for America, going to school for Fashion Design (a career path that shocked her adoptive parents, who supported her regardless). After a few years, she graduated and went out into the real world. Still rather new to the world of fashion, her designs have yet to take off.

Other Important Info:
-She took Ballet as a kid
-Often found reading various novels in her free time (the genres vary, most common being non-fiction texts and romance)
-Sometimes, there will be tiny braids in the ends of her hair (hardly noticeable unless one is looking), something she does when nervous
-It is rumored that she keeps a blade on her person at all times, whether this is true or not, is unknown (it's just for 'protection'! Honest!).

RP Sample:
The dull thud of shoes hitting the floor filled the hallway, as the determined face of Natalya Arlovskaya focused on the object of her destination. Portfolio clutched in her hand, nails biting into the flesh of her own palm as she approached the door. After months spent, laboring over her work table, erasing and retracing... the woman had completed her latest set of fall designs! Jutting her chin out in confidence, she barely registered that others were giving her a wide berth as she walked.

Knocking on the door once she reached it, awaiting the answer, she soon entered. This was quite possibly, her best design set, and she refused to not show them on the run way! The quiet girl could really only hope that they didn't suggest over weight (which they weren't really, but she viewed everything with such a critical eye) models like last time... Natalya refused to have her designs ruined.
