Appearance: Efie is fairly short at 5 ft. 2 in. She has light brown eyes and dark brown hair that she wears down most of the time. She usually wears loose-fitting clothes because of her self-consciousness. Being in the fashion industry (and being surrounded by so many super models) has made her a little reluctant to wear form-fitting clothes due to her short stature. She can usually be seen wearing long-sleeved shirts, since she's not comfortable with showing her arms. Efie is extremely memorable due to her silver braces.


Personality:
Being a designer has caused Efie to become more of a procrastinator, but she tries her hardest to make the deadlines. A very humble person, Efie seems to thrive on self-deprecation and is willing to make anyone happy, even at her own expense. She's someone who follows her dreams and imagination, rather than being realistic and practical. As all designers know, criticism is inevitable, which forces Efie to be less sensitive about criticism and know that people are entitled to their own opinion.

Efie has always been a daring person, so most of her designs reflect her love of sports, video games, and all things military. She likes vintage and indie themes, so her designs may seem a little "far-out" to those who are more knowledgeable in the main-stream industry. She can be slightly immature when it comes to interacting with others, which she says gives her "charm points".

Efie has always been the type of person who loved the limelight, but never wanted to be in it. She likes working behind the scenes, but still be an important part of the project. Even though she doesn't like being the center of attention, Efie is an extremely outgoing person who is willing to go beyond her comfort-zone to make others feel comfortable.

History:
Efie spent most of her childhood in Accra, where she attended a performing arts academy. Living under the shadow of two supermodel parents made her want to follow in their footsteps, so she obviously became interested in fashion. By the time she graduated from the academy, she was well on her way to becoming a model.

When she was eighteen, she showed up to a modeling agency in New York, and was ultimately rejected with a "Sorry, but you're just not pretty enough. Maybe if you grew about eight more inches, lost a lot of weight and fixed the teeth, then we'd consider having you as an agent." This experience shattered her self-esteem, but also made her pay more attention to how she put together her outfits. She knew from then on that having the Kwabina name wouldn't automatically get her what she wanted.

After attending the California Design College in Los Angeles, Efie realized Hollywood needed a little livening up, and what better way to do that than with her unusual, yet original designs? This surrealistic creativity brought her to Axis Modeling Agency.

Efie has a habit of randomly showing up in people's offices at weird times. She also disregards the common courtesy of knocking.

Efie groaned, banging her head against her desk. How could she be stuck on a simple task like deciding whether to wear a jacket or anorak? This was something you learned in preschool.

"Maybe I've just lost my touch," Efie muttered, head still on her desk. She had a very important meeting with several models who were going to be wearing her designs for the latest issue of Vogue, so she was not going to meet said models in jeans and a huge shirt that made her look fourteen months pregnant. Of all the times she could procrastinate, she had to choose now.

"I suppose a little black dress will have to suffice," she got up from her purple swivel chair and yanked a dangerously low-cut, sleeveless dress from her wardrobe. She searched for the new jean jacket she bought, but it was nowhere in sight. The only other thing she had was that hoodless anorak, which was a sickly off-white color that didn't match anything she owned.

"And they say black matches everything," Efie grabbed the anorak from off the floor (where it had been since the time she bought it) and put it on top of the black dress that was on her chair. The color combination was so horrible that it made her want to puke.

Donatella Versace would be so disappointed in her right now.
