Whatever it is, if it comes out of your mouth, it's gotta be bad news. [Alfred, Ivan and Heracles]

Alfred was beyond nervous. It was his debut shoot and unfortunately, Matthew hadn’t been able to make it, so he was going at this alone. He was going to be introduced to two photographers, so they could get to know him and see what his modeling was like.

Slipping into the modeling room, he looked around, hoping that no one would notice him. But that was probably unlikely, seeing as how he was the only model in the room. The rest were just crew. He wondered if the two photographers he was supposed to meet were already here. He didn’t know what they looked like, just what their names were.

Heracles Karpusi and Ivan Braginsky.

Ivan was setting up his camera, humming to himself happily. It had been a while since he'd shot with another photographer, but he was excited.
He brushed the hair out of his eyes and stretched, grinning when seeing the blonde American model. The other looked nervous and Ivan couldn't help but chuckle at that, thinking his vulnerability was cute.
"Hallo. You must be Mr. Jones, da?" His voice was thickly accented, but every word was pronounced articulately. "Come here, we will not bite." The Russian turned his head to the brunette near by him "Isn't that right, Heracles?"

Heracles fiddled with his camera, perodically glancing over at his fellow photographer. It had been a while since he had worked with anyone else as more than an assisstant, and he was slightly nervous. Especially considering the fact that this was Ivan Braginsky, one of the best photographers Heracles knew of. But, he would get through this without making an ass of himself...hopefully.

He looked up as the model they were working in came into the room, smiling slightly. The model was adorable. He kinda reminded Heracles of a puppy; a very nervous puppy. "Hm?" He looked away from the model as Ivan said something to him. "Yes, that's right. We're not going to hurt you Mr. Jones."

Feeling his face flush, Alfred avoided looking directly at the very tall Russian that had just walked over to him. Oh, why did he have to be so nervous? He had done plenty of modeling in New York! He should be used to this by now! But this place was strange and new, which made him naturally nervous.

“I never thought you’d hurt me!” He sputtered, huffing and crossing his arms. Maybe if he acted like the spoiled model he was, they wouldn’t treat him like a little kid. Really! He wasn’t scared of them (well, maybe Mr. Braginsky…), but of the fact that he was going to be putting his body on display for people he wasn’t used to working with.

Ivan laughed heartily. The boy was just getting cuter by the second!
"Mr. Jones, we are teasing you. No need to turn up your nose." Ivan had the audacity to actually reach over while smiling brightly, take Alfred's nose and give it a soft wiggle like one would to a little child before letting go.
"Now, me and Heracles will get this set up while you get changed, da? I'm sure that the stylists will have lots of fun with you." He nodded once, as if agreeing with himself while he continued to smile.

Oh, he was so cute~ Heracles kinda wanted to hug him. An odd reaction to a model but Alfred was adorable.

He nodded in agreement with Ivan's statement, laughing slightly when the Russian reached out to wiggle Alfred's nose. He got the feeling it would be fun working with the other man...hopefully. He nodded once again in agreement to Ivan's statement, feeling oddly like a parrot. Except, instead of copying words, he was just agreeing with everything...maybe he was the puppy here instead of Alfred. He quickly found himself lost in thought, puzzling over that.

Alfred gaped at Ivan after he pinched his nose before blushing furiously and walking quickly into the dressing room. He was just going to be modeling some new fashions, so it wasn’t a complex photo shoot. After the stylists got him ready and in his clothes, he nervously stepped out of the dressing room, forcing himself not to run a hand through his perfectly styled hair.

Ivan laughed again when Alfred walked away, turning to his co-worker. "He's a cute one, da, Heracles?" He chuckled, shaking his head and putting himself back behind the camera.

He gave Alfred a bright smile when he came out "And here is our beautiful model! You look fantastic, Mr. Jones." Ivan knew very well that it was always a good thing to try to make them feel as good about themselves as possible before pictures were taken, because then the model would have a nice glow. The Russian turned to Heracles again "Are you ready, comrade?"

"He is very cute." He declined on addressing Ivan by name, not sure how to address him. He looked at the set through his camera, smiling slightly as he got back into his element. Sometimes he wished that he could spend his entire life behind the camera, observing life through the lens.

He watched as Alfred came out, smiling. It was amazing how much make-up could change a person. Not that Alfred had been ugly before; he had had that great natural American beauty, so rare nowadays. But, with the make-up, he was absolutely stunning. "Ah...yes, I'm ready." He smiled at Ivan, nodding.

“B-Beautiful?” Looking at Ivan, Alfred blushed once again, but at least this time his make up was hiding most of it. Going over to the modeling set, he sighed and looked over at the two photographers. He felt awkward just standing there in front of the two of them, but this was what he was paid to do. Hopefully, he would loosen up soon enough and get into the role some more.

Taking a deep breath to calm himself, he smiled brightly at the two of them. “I’m ready!”

Ivan smiled, crouching down a bit to get a different angle while looking through the lens.
"Alright, Mr. Jones, relax yourself. Tilt your head a bit to the side...." The Russian took on a different tune now that he was working with the model. His voice turned into a soothing purr, rather than the excited tone he was using earlier, as he continued to direct the American as he snapped photos.
"Heracles, feel free to direct him yourself." He flashed the Greek man a smile before turning back to the camera.

He let Ivan take control, moving to get different angles of Ivan's photos, relaxing as Ivan's voice changed. "So pretty..." He muttered, looking at Alfred through the lens of his camera. He managed to get a shot that included both Ivan and Alfred, and while he knew that that one wouldn't be submitted later on he couldn't help but save it to his camera. He didn't even have a purpose for it, he just liked it.

He looked up as Ivan smiled at him and he smiled back faintly, shaking his head. "Maybe later..." He said, sneakily taking a picture of Ivan's smile before the other went back to his camera.

Soon enough, Alfred got into his role, relaxing completely and just letting his body take over. He had been modeling for a while now, so he knew how to turn off his nerves when he was working. Ivan’s soothing tone helped him relax even more and it was a good thing that he hadn’t been able to hear Heracles, or he would have been thrown off his game.

He continued to turn and pose of the cameras, all traces of the nervous teen gone, replaced by a professional model.

Ivan couldn't help but smile softly at that "You're doing great, Alfred." He continued to take shots from different angles. The Russian eventually stood up, towering over the Greek beside him.
"Mr. Jones, look at the camera and smile for us." Ivan wanted at least one shot of the Americans bright smile.

Heracles smiled as Alfred started to relax, finding it easier to get good pictures off of him that way. Not that the ones he got when Alfred was nervous weren't good, but relaxed models often did things that fit with the moment that they wouldn't do when they're nervous.

He looked up at Ivan as the other man stood up, nodding in agreement with his request. Alfred probably looked amazing with a smile. He readied his camera in anticipation.

Relaxing completely, Alfred was at ease in front of the cameras, soaking up the attention. This was one of the reasons he loved modeling, because all eyes were on him. When Ivan stood up, he dropped his pose, curious as to what the man wanted. He was not expecting such a simple request.

“Smile? That’s it…?” Confused but not caring, Alfred turned to the cameras and smiled happily. He liked pictures where he looked happy and natural. It made the ads look better, in his opinion.

Ivan smiled himself at that "Da. What a beautiful smile, Alfred." The Russian continued to take shots before jumping a bit, putting down his camera (With quite a bit of reluctance) and looking at his pager. "Excuse me a moment, comrades. It is the boss." He jogged out, leaving Heracles and Alfred to their own devices.

And this was one of the reasons he loved being a photographer. Getting to capture things like Alfred's smile...it made dealing with all of the bitchy models who starved themselves worth it. Sure, Alfred was also a little on the skinny side, but Heracles couldn't say if it was because the other was starving himself or because the other was naturally skinny.

He looked away from his camera and Alfred's smile in time to catch Ivan leave before he turned his attention to Alfred. Ivan had been the one controlling the show so far, mostly because Heracles had been nervous about working with him. But now..."Mr. Jones, could you do something that comes completely naturally to you? I don't particularly care what you do, so anything's fine." He wanted to see what Alfred could do, would do if he wasn't being capture on film.

Alfred’s cheeks were dusted a light pink when Ivan called his smile beautiful and he couldn’t help but keep smiling. Compliments really helped him stay positive, which was hard in a business such as this one. Especially since he was struggling with his body image. He watched Ivan leave before turning his attention on the other photographer once the tall Russian had left the room.

“Something… natural?” What did he do that was natural to him? Well, he liked talking to people, so he struck up a conversation with a stylist intern, a young girl in her late teens. He enjoyed talking and making people laugh, which in turn made him smile and laugh. The girl was more than happy to talk to him, so they just went on about make up and photo shoots and which movies they liked watching. He hoped this was natural enough for Heracles.

Ivan snuck back in again quietly, not wanting to disturb anything that was going on. The tall Russian walked back to his camera, taking it and moving it to get a different angle. "Comrade Heracles, the boss just wanted me to tell you that we have an extra hour if for some reason we need it. The next photographer cancelled his appointment."

Heracles watched Alfred talk with the stylist, moving so he could get shots of the model without the girl being present in them. He didn't want to deal with cutting her out of the photos later, especially since she was only an intern and she didn't sign up to get her picture taken.

He looked up as Ivan came back in the room, tilting his head to the side in confusion. "Huh. That's kinda weird...I wonder why the net photographer cancelled his appointment." He shrugged. "Oh well. Thank you for telling me."

Alfred continued to talk with the girl, getting so absorbed in the conversation that he hardly noticed Ivan return. When he did, he glanced over at both photographers and smiled, wondering what they were talking about. Whatever it was, Heracles looked a bit confused. Excusing himself, he got up and walked over to them.

“Is something wrong…?”

Ivan smiled at Heracles "I believe that the model he wanted was sick today, and the photographer did not want a replacement."
The Russian turned to look at Alfred with a smile "Everything is fine, Mr. Jones. I was just informing Heracles of a slight change in our schedule. Nothing for you to worry about. Would you like to take a break?"

"Oh, I see. That makes sense...are we going to need the extra time?" He wondered, looking up to see Alfred coming towards them. "Hm...everything is fine Mr Jones." And...a break sounded like a wonderful idea. A break generally equalled time to nap. Though, that was normally on shoots where he was by himself...Ivan may want to talk to him during this one.

“Change in schedule?” Well, whatever this change was, if it meant getting a break, he was more than happy to go along with it. “A break sounds great! I’m getting kinda thirsty, so I think I’ll go get some water.” Alfred smiled at the two of them, but his smile lingered on Ivan for a moment longer than necessary before he turned to go get a water bottle.
